Lava piece on monkeypod wood! For this piece, the look of the wood determined what the art piece was going to be. I couldn’t help but see a volcano in the shape of the wood. I also added the resin ocean scene to contrast the volcanic rock and lava. And then of course, I included a couple of turtles into my art! 
This piece measures about 19” wide by 13” tall.
