For months I have been envisioning this art piece. I am glad to finally have it complete! Humpback whales are so mesmerizing and graceful as they glide through the vast ocean. That is in the inspiration for this piece. 
Crafted from koa wood, the top section of the piece features a beautifully carved wavy texture with a volcano on the side. Multiple layers of whales are placed in the water to add dimension and depth to the composition. Encased in a koa frame and embellished with a resin lei, this piece truly captures the beauty and tranquility of the ocean’s gentle giants.
